Catherine uses professional lighting systems and is experienced in editing each photograph individually to achieve the best results.

Chiswick Child Photography has a huge choice of themed backdrops and set ups for cake smash sessions ranging from Boss Baby, Dinosaur, Princess and Jungle backdrops to more classic style balloon themed backdrops. Clients can choose these in advance from the Cake Smash Backdrop gallery page.

There are several different packages available to suit different budgets and preferences.
Cake Smash Package (For 1 year olds): £300
Available for Monday to Thursday 9.30am 10am or 2pm sessions only (excluding bank holidays)
NB Also available for 2 year olds
NB This package only includes cake smash photographs. Please choose one of the other packages if you are looking for a cake smash session that also includes family photographs, baby portrait photographs and bath splash photographs.
Cake Smash & Bath Splash Photography Package (For 1 year olds): £475
Price reduced to £425 for Monday to Thursday sessions (excluding bank holidays)
NB Also available for 2 year olds
Cake Smash & Bath Splash Photography Gold Package (For 1 year olds): £575
Price reduced to £525 for Monday to Thursday sessions (excluding bank holidays)
NB Also available for 2 year olds
The emphasis is on baby fun for these photoshoots so they work very well as a memorable treat for first birthdays.
NB Cake Smashes are exclusively for parents and babies but up to 3 siblings can attend the first part of the session and be included in the pre cake smash photographs for the Gold Package - please advise on sibling ages beforehand. There is a local park at the end of the road where one parent or another adult can take siblings during the remainder of the session.
Please let me know if your child has any food allergies so that my cake maker can provide a dairy free and/or egg free cake for them.
The studio is in Chiswick, West London (London Borough of Ealing) and there are nearby public transport options plus pay by phone or app parking within easy reach of Hammersmith, Ealing, Harrow, Shepherds Bush, Kensington, Notting Hill Gate, Chelsea, Barnes, Hounslow and other West London areas.
Booking Deposit Fee: £200
Please give a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations/date changes in order to avoid the £100 late cancellation fee which will otherwise be deducted from your deposit. The booking fee is non refundable but can be used towards later packages if clients cancel with a minimum of 24 hours notice.
The prints for all packages must be selected from the digital images selected
Please note that the photographer will select the best images from each session for editing.
Unedited images are not available for viewing and RAW files/unedited images are not given.
Please note that clients are not allowed to take their own photographs and/or video footage during sessions.
Additional editing requests will be charged at a rate of £20 per image edit (on top of the package price).
A maximum of 5 additional edited images may be requested for packages which include at least 20 edited images.
A maximum of 3 additional edited images may be requested for packages which include fewer than 20 edited images.
Additional editing charges need to be paid in advance.
The editing charge is purely an editing charge to create more choice for clients and does not include the purchase of additional digital images within packages.
Additional digital images may also be purchased at a rate of £25 per image.

- 3 additional images plus a multi image are given to clients who give their permission for some of the images to be used for the Chiswick Child Photography website and/or Chiswick Child Photography promotions.
- 12 x 8 Inch Fine Art Prints (unframed) can be purchased for £20 per print

- Includes one image of baby sitting on a flokati rug (girls can wear a studio baby couture dress for this photo)
- Main Part of the session is the Cake Smash
- Last half hour will be a bubble bath session (in miniature gold claw feet bath - available in white or black)

- Up to 3 siblings can be included in the 8 pre cake smash family photographs if booked in advance but under 5s cannot stay for the remainder of the session as they tend to be too much of a distraction for babies (and parents) which can affect the cake smash and bath splash photographs
- Includes two images of baby sitting in a vintage suitcase next to a teddy bear
- Includes one image of baby sitting on a flokati rug (girls can wear a studio baby couture dress for these photos)
