Chiswick Child Photography is now offering home photoshoots within a 3 mile radius of Chiswick using a portable studio lighting system plus several additional props for clients that want a Studio look (bright white backlit background) to their photographs without having to leave home.
Clients will need to be able to guarantee parking outside (or very close to) their home and to provide a reasonably large and clear room for the session as the lighting system is fairly large and requires a clear wall that can accommodate a 5ft wide and 7 ft high lighting system with clear space in front for families stand and be photographed.

This option will particularly suit families where mothers traditionally remain indoors for the first month and those with older siblings and/or grandparents that they want to include in the session but don't want to have to travel with.
Catherine Orr Deas has been photographing newborn babies and their families for over ten years and has a wealth of experience in settling and posing newborn babies and creating a relaxed and safe baby and parent friendly environment.
All images are individually enhanced and edited using a combination of photoshop and specialist newborn photographer editing software (so don't worry about peeling or blotchy baby skin or tired new parents eyes).
Newborn sessions are ideally held when babies are 6-14 days old when they tend to be much deeper sleepers making it far easier to pose them for a variety of photographs. It is still possible to hold newborn sessions with babies up to one month old but it is less likely that they will fall into a deep sleep at this later stage so it may not be possible to achieve the same variety of sleeping poses.
Morning Sessions are recommended for most newborn clients as newborn babies are generally much more settled during the morning.
Where possible please try to book your session when you are still pregnant to avoid missing the "ideal age window" during busy periods. Once clients have booked in and given Catherine the baby's anticipated due date she will guarantee to keep space available during the anticipated 6-14 day old ideal age window. If you have already had your baby please get in touch as soon as possible to try to get a late booking.
Home Newborn Baby Photography Package using portable studio lighting and props : Price: £650
NB There is a £400 booking deposit for this package and the balance payment would be due at the session itself.

Please give a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations/date changes in order to avoid the £100 late cancellation fee which will otherwise be deducted from your deposit. The booking fee is non refundable but can be used towards later packages if clients cancel with a minimum of 24 hours notice.

- 3 hour Home (West London) Newborn Photoshoot including use of portable studio lighting, props, hats, wraps and a New Mama Gown
- This package can include family and sibling photographs as well as baby only photographs
- The baby only images can include a baby name photograph and several images of the baby lying on the beanbag (the most comfortable prop!) plus a few additional transportable props.
- Individual Image Enhancement and private viewing gallery (30 edited images)
- USB with 25 Print quality jpeg images plus set of low resolution images suitable for email
- Two 12 x 8 Fine Art Prints
