Newborn Photography Sessions are held in my West London (Chiswick) Studio that is well equipped with
both natural and professional lighting systems (top of the range and gentle on little eyes) as well as a wide range of specialist newborn photography props, outfits, wraps, backdrops and hats. New Mama Gowns are also available for new mums to wear for family photographs.
I have been photographing newborn babies and their families for 15 years and have
a wealth of experience in settling and posing newborn babies and creating a relaxed and safe baby and parent friendly environment.
All images are individually enhanced and edited using a combination of photoshop and specialist newborn photographer editing software (so don't worry about peeling or blotchy baby skin or tired new parent eyes).
Newborn sessions are ideally held when babies are 6-14 days old when they tend to be much deeper sleepers making it far easier to pose them for a variety of photographs. That being said, It is still possible to hold newborn sessions with babies up to 10 weeks old but it generally takes longer to settle them into the sleeping poses. I regularly photograph older newborns and most will sleep at some stage during the session if these sessions are well timed so if you need longer to recover from your baby's birth (or your baby is already older than 2 weeks) I am happy to work with older babies. Morning Sessions are recommended for most newborn clients as newborn babies are generally much more settled during the morning.
Where possible please try to book your session when you are still pregnant to avoid missing the "ideal age window" during busy periods. Once clients have booked in and provided me with the baby's anticipated due date I will guarantee to keep space available during the anticipated 6-14 day old ideal age window. If you have already had your baby please get in touch as soon as possible to try to get a late booking.
If your baby tends to take longer than most to settle during a newborn photoshoot you can (if I don't have another session booked in afterwards) extend your session by up to an hour for an additional price of £50.
My studio is in Chiswick, West London (London Borough of Ealing) and there are nearby public transport options and pay by phone or app parking bays close by. The studio is within easy reach of Hammersmith, Ealing, Shepherds Bush, Richmond, Barnes, Kensington, Notting Hill Gate and Harrow.
Mini Baby Only Newborn Photography Package: £225
This package is only available for Monday to Thursday 9.30am or 2pm sessions
Baby Only Newborn Photography Package : £325
This package is only available for Monday to Friday sessions OR Saturday 2pm sessions
Bronze Newborn Baby Photography Package : £450 (Parents & Baby Only)
Price reduced to £425 for week day sessions (excluding bank holidays)
Reduced to £475 for weekday sessions (excluding bank holidays)
NB This package can also be selected for parent and baby only sessions
Gold Newborn Baby Photography Package: £650 (can include sibling/s and/or grandparent/s)
Price reduced to £600 for week day sessions (excluding bank holidays)
NB This photoshoot can include siblings and/or grandparents for the first or last hour of the session
Please note that the photographer will select the best images from each session for editing.
Unedited images are not available for viewing and RAW files are not given.
Please note that clients are not allowed to take their own photographs and/or video footage during sessions.
Additional editing requests will be charged at a rate of £20 per photograph (on top of the package price).
A maximum of 5 additional edited images may be requested for packages which include at least 20 edited images.
A maximum of 3 additional edited images may be requested for packages which include fewer than 20 edited images.
Additional composite photograph editing will be charged at a rate of £25 per photograph.
Additional editing charges need to be paid in advance.
The editing charge is purely an editing charge to create more choice for clients and does not include the purchase of additional digital images within packages.
Individual additional digital images may be purchased at a rate of £25 per image.
Booking Deposit Fee: £200
Please give a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations/date changes in order to avoid the £100 late cancellation fee which will otherwise be deducted from your deposit. The booking fee is non refundable but can be used towards later packages if clients cancel with a minimum of 24 hours notice.
The prints for all packages must be selected from the digital images selected.

- This package is for baby photographs only (please choose a different package if you want family photographs)
- This package includes two or three set ups which are most likely to be set ups where your baby is lying on their back e.g. in felted layers or a bowl/basket/shell prop/flower prop/boat all of which work with both sleeping and awake babies
- This package is available for Monday to Thursday sessions (please choose a larger package if you need a weekend)
- Individual Image Enhancement and private viewing gallery (6 edited images selected by the photographer)
- 4 High resolution images transferred by WeTransfer for instant download
- 2 additional images will be given to clients who give permission for some of the images to be used for the Chiswick Child Photography website and/or Chiswick Child Photography promotions.

- Individual Image Enhancement and private viewing gallery (20 edited images selected by the photographer)
- 15 Print quality jpeg images sent via WeTransfer for instant download

- It is recommended that siblings or grandparent/s only come for the first or last 30 minutes of the photoshoot

Price reduced to £600 for week day sessions (excluding bank holidays)
- 3.5 hour Studio (West London) Newborn Photoshoot including use of studio props, hats, wraps and one or two New Mama Gowns
- Can include both parents (and siblings and/or one or two Grandparents for the first or last hour of the photoshoot)
- As this is a longer session there is more time to get a larger variety of images
- Individual Image Enhancement and private viewing gallery (35 edited images selected by the photographer)
- 30 print quality Images sent via WeTransfer for instant download
- 5 additional images plus a multi image on USB are given to clients who give permission for some of the images to be used for the Chiswick Child Photography website and/or Chiswick Child Photography promotions.
- Two 12 x 8 Inch Fine Art Prints (unframed)
NB This photoshoot can include siblings and/or grandparents for the first or last hour of the session
Please note that the photographer will select the best images from each session for editing.
